Account Information
We collect your email address and basic profile information when you create an account through our authentication provider (Clerk).
Gmail Access (Read-Only)
With your explicit permission, we access your Gmail inbox using read-only permissions to scan for contract-related emails. We only extract and store contract metadata (vendor name, renewal dates, amounts). We never store the full content of your emails or access non-contract-related messages.
Contract Data
We store contract information you provide through manual import or that we extract from your emails, including vendor names, renewal dates, amounts, and related metadata.
Usage Information
We collect basic usage data to improve our service, including pages visited and features used.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Contract Radar service
- To identify and extract contract information from your emails
- To display your contracts in dashboards, tables, and calendars
- To send you notifications about upcoming renewals (when you enable this feature)
- To improve our service based on feedback and usage patterns
- To communicate with you about your account and our service
Data Storage and Security
Your contract data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Google Cloud Platform services and follow security best practices to protect your information.
We will never sell your personal information or contract data to third parties. We do not share your data with anyone except:
- Service providers necessary to operate our service (authentication, cloud storage)
- When required by law or to protect our legal rights

Gmail API Disclosure
Contract Radar's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically, we only use Gmail data to identify contract-related emails and extract relevant metadata for the purpose of tracking your contracts. We do not use Gmail data for any other purpose.
